I am excited to report that three of my creative pieces have been officially published!
National Fiction Award:
My short story “Awakened by the Rising Tide” was selected as the only Grade 11 entry in Canada to be published and awarded a national prize in the Polar Expressions 2024/2025 Short Story Contest! This story is included in Echoes of the Deep, a collection of exceptional stories written by Canadian students in Grades 9–12. It’s available for purchase here: Polar Expressions Shop.
Publication of Poetry:
My poem “7, 17, 70” was published in the Blue Marble Review, a journal dedicated to promoting youthful voices worldwide. It can be read here.
Publication of Visual Art:
One of my photographs was published in the Flash Forward Incubator 2025, a country-wide program by the Magenta Foundation that showcases new artists across Canada. My work was featured in their official catalogue and also shown in a gallery exhibition.
I’m really thankful to be part of these amazing opportunities and to share my work with the world. Heartfelt appreciation to Polar Expressions, Blue Marble Review, and the Magenta Foundation for supporting young writers and artists lime me across the country!
