About me

Hello, I am Eziz Hezretov, an aspiring entrepreneur who is passionate about making a meaningful impact on people and planet. For this purpose, I’ve built www.eziz.ca, a youth social entrepreneurial project to raise funds for charitable causes through innovative initiatives like Clutter for a Cause and Online Donut Sales.

My experience in serving people and the planet started early on. Since I was a kid, I’ve been volunteering at Origin Church’s UBC Bread Project, distributing  pastries donated by a local bakery to children. As I grew older, I joined another major initiative – Origin’s Church’s UBC Acadia Food Hub, which is distributing food to low-income families in collaboration with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. I continue to find joy in volunteering at Still Fabulous Thrift Stop, raising funds for BC Children’s and Women’s Hospitals through various retail and customer service activities.

At the 2024 Youth Entrepreneur Summit (Y.E.S.) and Sauder School Business’s 2025 STRIVE, I learned how to take ideas and make them happen. With a background in IT from Codecademy’s Full-Stack Developer program, I’ve taken my volunteer work to the next level by building this innovative social entrepreneurial e-platform, which streamlines fundraising and donation and creates positive impacts on people and the planet more than ever.

I live on UBC campus with my family. I am completing UHill Secondary in a couple of years. After, I’m excited to explore new ways to merge technology, entrepreneurship to make a meaningful impact on people and the planet. Also, I enjoy observing and capturing through photography the beautiful moments of everyday life at UBC and in or around Vancouver, focusing on nature, people and spirit of cities.

I look forward to continuing to grow, learn, and make a meaningful difference!
