Browse the platform, select an item, and confirm availability.

Pay for the Item

The following payment options are available when checking out with your item:

  1. Cash in person.
  2. Send an Interac e-Transfer.
  3. Online payment through PayPal.
  4. Debit or credit card via PayPal.

Receive the Item

  • On UBC Campus: Come and pick up the item at its location. Delivery might be possible if arranged in advance.
  • Off UBC Campus: We will ship the item if it weighs less than 5 kg and has a value under $100 CAD. Otherwise, the buyer must arrange shipping and coordinate for pickup with us.

Fill the “How to Donate Item” form and submit it along with item info, description, and photos online.

Item Listed and Buyers Found

We’ll list your item on Clutter for a Cause  and find buyers for it.

🚗

Item Picked Up

Once the buyer is found, we will pick up the item from you.

Get a Tax Receipt

We’ll ensure the proceeds from your item are sent to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation or any charity of your choice.

A tax receipt will be mailed if you checked “Yes” to the question “Do you need a tax receipt?” on the “How to Donate Item” form and provided your address.
